Is the smartphone or tablet required in the cab to operate Wheelman?

The Wheelman does not require the use of the smart phone or tablet once it is calibrated and the firmware is up to date. So, the unit can be operated in the field by using the Wheelman dashboard (circled below, Wheelman Pro example) under your steering wheel.
