Use the snap feature to move, or snap, the wayline to the vehicle’s current position parallel to the original wayline. You must have a wayline set but be disengaged (not engaged on the wayline) to use this feature.
To snap a wayline to your current location (Whirl):
- While disengaged from a wayline (the wayline is set, but you are not engaged on the wayline) and on the map screen, drive to the position (perpendicular distance from the current wayline) where you want the wayline to be after it is moved (snapped).
- Display the autosteering panel (swipe to the left from the right edge of the screen or tap the autosteering panel icon
at the top right of the screen). The SNAP button is enabled (ready to use).
- Tap
. The autosteering panel closes and the wayline moves to your current location.
Note: The wayline on the map screen moves to your current position very quickly, so you may miss seeing it; however, you can tell the wayline moved because your vehicle is centered on the map screen and the wayline is now centered on the wayline.
- Tap
to engage on the line and begin autosteering.
To snap a wayline to your current location (Wheelman):
- While disengaged from a wayline (the wayline is set, but you are not engaged on the wayline), drive to the position (perpendicular distance from the current wayline) where you want the wayline to be after it is moved (snapped).
- Press and hold ('long press') the A button (circled below) for a second or two until the three center LEDs are on, indicating you are centered on your wayline (the wayline has moved, or snapped, to your current location). The left engage LED is on, meaning you are ready to engage on the wayline.
- Press the engage button to engage on the wayline and begin autosteering.
