How do I delete log files?
When you upload log files they are automatically deleted from Whirl. However, if you decide you do not want or need to upload log files you downloaded, you can delete them. For example, you resolved an issue without needing to upload log files you downloaded; otherwise, if you need to download log files in the future for an issue, the old log files you previously downloaded may not apply to the current issue.
To delete log files:
- Make sure Whirl is connected to the Internet via your home Wi-Fi connection.
- Tap
at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Wheelman Log Files to display the Wheelman Log Files screen.
The number of downloaded log files available for upload are indicated at the top of the screen, as shown below. - Tap
. A confirmation message.
Tap Delete to delete the log files (or tap Cancel if you change your mind and want to keep the log files, such as for upload later).
