Whirl overview – autosteering panel
Whirl app only: Use the autosteering panel (shown below) to perform such task-related functions as setting your autosteering mode, nudging the wayline, or stopping the task. To display the autosteering panel from the map screen, use either method below:
- Swipe to the left from the right edge of the screen
- Tap the autosteering panel icon (three horizontal lines) located in the right corner above the map
On the autosteering panel:
1 Tap either the x (close button) or the autosteering panel icon to close/hide the autosteering panel.
2 Tap the AUTOSTEERING MODE button to display the Autosteering Mode screen, where you select your autosteering mode or display helpful information on the modes.
Note: Remember, to set your autosteering mode: a) Display the autosteering panel, b) Tap AUTOSTEERING MODE to display the Autosteering Mode screen, then c) Tap the mode you want to use (such as STRAIGHT or PIVOT). This will close the autosteering panel and take you to the map screen.
3 Tap the SNAP button to snap the wayline to your current position – the SNAP button is enabled only when you are disengaged (no longer engaged on a set wayline).
4 Tap the left or right NUDGE WAYLINE arrows to nudge (move) the wayline by the indicated amount to the left or right, respectively.
5 Tap the NUDGE WAYLINE field to enter a new nudge value.
6 Tap the STEERING OPTIONS button to display the Steering Options panel, where you can adjust different steering options parameters.
7 Task name.
8 Stop the task. You must then confirm your selection in a pop-up message.
9 Zoom in (plus) or zoom out (minus) on the map. Alternatively, with the autosteering panel closed you can pinch-to-zoom in and out directly on the map.
