How do I know I am autosteering?
Whirl app:
The status (color, text) of the onscreen engage button indicates whether you are manually steering or autosteering (Straight Mode example):
- Gray button with 'ENGAGE AUTOSTEERING' (figure A) – manually steering with no wayline set (the engage button is disabled until you set a wayline)
- Blue button with 'ENGAGE AUTOSTEERING' (figure B) – manually steering with wayline set (ready to engage) – tap ENGAGE AUTOSTEERING to engage on the wayline and begin autosteering
- White button with 'DISENGAGE' (figure C) – autosteering along the red wayline
Wheelman:
The status (on/off) of the two dashboard engage button LEDs indicate whether you are manually steering or autosteering:
- Both LEDs off (figure A) – manually steering with no wayline set
- Left LED on (figure B) – manually steering with wayline set (ready to engage) – press the engage button to engage on the wayline and begin autosteering
- Both LEDs on (figure C) – autosteering along the wayline
